Vizi Beam RXONE

It's easy to compare this light with ADJ's Focus Beam LED and ask yourself "why not just go LED and save on the lamp?"

2 good reasons.  1) Because it's difficult to make an LED beam that's bright and small.  They're getting there, but still, on paper the RXONE is 3x the brightness of the Focus Beam.  Yeah.  3x for about 20% more wattage. 

Now, is it really that much brighter to the eye?  Maybe, maybe not - I haven't seen them together in person.  Lamp beams often have a pretty distinct hot spot, which can make the numbers appear a little high, but it also catches our eye better.

2) I told you I'd get to reason number 2 someday - #2 is that the Vizi Beam RXONE has more features.  Better Prisms and a couple more gobos. 

And that is why this beam fixture is worth the cost of changing a lamp.  And at 6000 hours, depending on how often you run them, you're not changing them that much!  If you run them 8 hours a day, every day, you'll replace lamps every (2) years.  Most people don't run them that much, and if you do, you should probably find an LED beam that you like.
